V-Twin Chopper 3.1 Gallon Gas Tank

The V-twin Universal chopper style tank has a right side petcock opening, and a fuel capacity of 3.1 gallons. It has front and rear mounting tabs. The tank accepts a 1974 and earlier 3/8" National Pipe Thread style petcock. The two rear holes in the bottom side rear of the tank are for a cross over fuel line and accept a 1/4" National Pipe Thread fuel fitting.

• Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting.
• Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
• Clean the inside of the tank.
• It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
• Check the petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
• The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock.
• Tank accepts Bayonet style vented gas caps.
• The tank has undrilled tab front and rear for surface mounting on top frame tube.
