Bung King - Crash Bar Highway Peg Crash Bar fits Dyna, FXR w/ Mid Controls
The Bung King Highway peg crash bar will protect your bike in a crash. This is a dual function part for those of you that have a late or early Dyna with mid controls. The fully TIG welded assembly takes place of your bolt on highway pegs and serves the function a standard highway peg would. However this mount also serves as a crash bar or as some call it, a crash cage. The front crash bar does what it sounds like it should, it protects the front section of the bike in case of a crash or if the bike happens to fall over. The assembly in fact was designed and built for some local stunt riders to protect their bikes as they were learning new tricks and didn't want to destroy their new Dyna's in the process. The bar features replaceable Delrin sliders on the ends to help the bike slide over the pavement as apposed to taking hold of the bike while it is sliding and causing it to high side. A lot of R and D has gone into the exact placement and length of the bar to ensure enough lean angle and still provide the right amount of protection.

Delivery was very quick, installed with no problems. Looks like it'll do it's job but hoping to not have to use it. Great for stretching your legs out

Clearance...
I got the crash bar and the speed merchant skid plate. I had to slot the holes in both parts to make them tilt forward for clearance. The supplies bracket for regulator relocation was a separate part and not welded to the bar like the others . It did not work for my application. Perhaps there was something I wasn't seeing. No instructions included as it should be fairly simple but slotting the top holes was easy and it fits great now. Good quality stuff, im happy

I have a 2015 dyna low rider with a 103ci motor. The exhaust I have is a Dan moto 2 into 1. The mounting point near the exhaust would not clear and had to be trimmed about 1/4 of an inch but other than that I love it.
